The tax sale for the 2024 Delinquent Taxes is scheduled for August 18, 2025 at 2:00pm.

Tax Bills will be sold at the tax sale on August 18, 2025 beginning at 2PM by Rockcastle County Clerk, Danetta Ford Allen.  In order for your bill not to be offered for sale you must either pay the bill by August 15, 2025 at 4PM or set up a payment plan with the Rockcastle County Attorney, Jeremy Rowe’s office by August 15, 2025  at 4PM.  No payments or agreements will be accepted on August 18, 2025.  The bill amount listed is calculated for the August tax sale date but will have an additional advertising fee upon payment due to the bill being advertised in The Mt. Vernon Signal.

No check payments will be accepted after August 8, 2025.

A LIST OF DELINQUENT TAXES WILL BE POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE BY JULY 10, 2025.
